THE RAW POWER OF SUPER FOODS

How to eat:   Apart from eating them raw and whole (in salads) there is an astonishing variety of ways of enjoying raw food.

Juicing:   Easy to digest, juices are also very nourishing and a wonderful way of detoxing the body.

Dehydrating   is a method of removing the water content of a food (using a food dehydrator) to inhibit the growth of microorganisms while preserving the nutritional properties. Using this method, fruits, vegetables, seeds and herbs can be dehydrated and preserved for use later.

Blending:   Fruits and /or certain veggies can be blended to create nutritious and tasty meals on their own.

Fermenting:   Implies the use of beneficial micro organisms in a desirable manner to either create a healthy food or preserve a food. Sauerkraut, kefir (a Turkish method of frementing milk using a special bacterial culture) contains probiotic bacteria, yeast and other nutritionally rich substances. Kimchi and kombucha ( Korean and Japanese methods of pickling vegetables ) are known to have healing properties.
